For one, I didn't want to write while we were in our most stressful time we have ever been in our marriage and for another, I have been very busy since we moved back to Arizona that I honestly took every second of down time I could to just relax.

So Dale graduated BYU Law School in April. I was so incredibly proud and relived when he walked across the stage at graduation that I cried when his name was read. I am so happy that it is all over.

We moved back to Arizona the day after Dale graduated and moved into ASU Family Housing in Mesa. Because I am taking classes with ASU, We can live here on campus. It has been a great thing with us not knowing where Dale would get a permanent job, which can be anywhere in Arizona once he had taken and passed the Arizona State Bar Exam and admitted into the Arizona State Bar Association. So the ASU housing has been a great temporary place for us.

Dale took the Arizona State Bar Exam at the end of July. We moved here in April and he had from then until the end of July to study for the exam. It became a full time job for him and most of the time he was studying eight hours a day. I took a job doing hair again so he would not have to worry about supporting our little family during the study period for the bar. I started working at SportClips and a new appreciation for being a stay at home mom dawned on me. I would work a full time job and then come home and do my other full time job of being a mom. To say the least I was very tired most of the time. But the time came for the Bar Exam and Dale took the two day test. And then we waited until October 11th for results.

After the Bar Exam, Dale began to look for jobs that he could do without having been admitted to the Bar Association. He finally found a clerkship (which is basically a research position) for Maricopa County Attorney's Office. He was one of about 100 applicants and was told after his interview that they would contact him if they wanted to hire him and not to call them. We didn't hear anything from them for about 3 weeks and then he got the call one day while we were out shopping, that he got the job! I was so happy and proud. We found out that, on his first day, he was one of 7 to get the job out of 100. To say that I was incredibly proud is putting it lightly. Dale was on his way to starting a promising career in law. I then quit my job, to be a stay at home mom again and would not have it any other way.

I also found out right after Dale took the Bar Exam that I was expecting our third child. We were not expecting this little surprise and were quite nervous to find out that we would be having another little one. My kids are very close together and when I think about adding a third to this little gang I still get very nervous although I am getting used to the idea. When I was about 7 weeks pregnant, I woke up with a horrible cold and went to urgent care. While I was there they asked me all these routine questions and one of those questions was if I had any abdominal pain. I told them that I have been having what I assumed as growing pains on my lower right side. The doctor just wanted to make sure everything was good so he did a full examination. When he would push on my right side I was very tender. Because of the fear of appendicitis while your are pregnant, I was then sent to the emergency room. I then spent the day doing tests and staying overnight for observation. All I wanted to do was go home because I had a cold and just wanted to be taken care of by my husband. And because of our kids that needed to be taken care of, he could not stay with me in the hospital. I was sick, in pain, and very lonely. The next morning, the surgeon determined that I needed to have the appendix removed. I was very scared. First, having my appendix removed could cause a miscarriage and after 3 of those I didn't want to experience that ever again. Second, not having my appendix removed and then having it burst would not only cause me to loose my small baby but also put my life in danger. And third, my husband was not with me to make this horrible choice and I was feeling very alone. I told the surgeon I would have the surgery and then right after he left pleaded with my Heavenly Father that I would not loose this little one. I then called Dale and cried. He told me that he found a babysitter and would be there ASAP to be by my side when I went to surgery. I was so grateful when he walked through my door. I went and had the surgery and when I woke up was told that everything went very well and that my baby was still there with a great and strong heartbeat that I got to hear. I then cried again in thanks that my baby had made it through a hard thing as little as it was. Recovery was hard but got easier and easier every day. It was a trial of my faith and I am so happy that I was being watched over and protected.

My little one continues to grow every day and I am feeling movement more and more. I get to find out what I am having tomorrow and I am so excited. With one boy and one girl already, either gender will be welcomed into this family.

Coen is getting so big and is really becoming a big boy now. He just turned three and is growing and learning everyday. He loves to learn new things and it is starting to become challenging to find new things for him to do. He is so smart and I am truly blessed with how amazing he is. He has now really wanted to help every time I cook. He is my little chef.

Adylee is also growing every day and has a new word to tell me almost hourly. She is starting to say more and more and do more and more. It is hard to keep up with two active toddlers but now that the weather here has finally turned nice, being outside everyday for hours at a time helps tremendously.

We just found out on Friday that Dale did pass the Bar Exam and now can be admitted into the Bar Association. Our joy is very hard to explain. After four years from the time Dale started the whole process of testing to get into law school, applying, choosing the right law program, going to law school for three years, graduating, taking the bar exam, and now passing, he can now finally find a job as a lawyer and start his career. I am so proud of my amazing husband and everything he has accomplished. It is a good feeling to know that he has this degree and can now use it to support our family. It was a great relief to know that he passed especially with a new baby on the way. So now the job hunt begins and probably moving will be in our near future. Once he finds something we can move close to that job, wherever it may be, and really get settled for the first time in our married life. I am so excited for this next chapter.Samantha Albachhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02745517412726989322noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-54438990138329634422013-02-15T22:45:00.000-08:002013-02-15T22:45:06.139-08:00Last Semester of Law SchoolWell this last semester has been very interesting so far. As fast as the first semester of this school year was, the last semester has been just as slow. We are getting very anxious to get out of school and on with our lives. It doesn't help that many of our friends have moved away or will be moving in the next little while. So now I just keep myself busy with the kids and school and hope that the time passes quickly. But we have had some fun things that have happened this semester that I would like to share with all of you.

First off, Coen is growing and getting smarter every single day. We actually had him tested because I felt that his speech was not where other kids his age is. So I had this program here in Orem come and test him. When they test things like speech, however, they test other things like intelligence and hearing and vision. Well not only did he pass everything, but his intelligence was off the charts. Can I tell you that this makes me the most proud and the most terrified I have ever been in my life. First, I am super proud of my son. I knew he was smart but according to the lady that tested him, she said that she has never seen a kid test so high. This makes me terrified as well. I have never considered myself a smart person. I struggle with school and I struggle to keep up with intelligence conversation. I start to get very anxious when I get around Dale and his law school friends. So to have a kid that tests off the charts for intelligence makes me nervous. I never want to be considered stupid by my kids. So I guess we will see what happens.

Coen is also very active. He keeps me hopping all the time. One of his little troubles that he made is in the pictures below. He colored my couch with a black marker that took me the rest of the night to remove. I went to the bathroom for two minutes.

Another one was I went to do my makeup and came back five minutes later to find Coen naked and standing on top of the microwave. He is a trouble maker and I am learning to keep up. It is the hardest job in the world, being a parent. It is a good thing I love him so much or I might have given him away by now. :) But how can you not love this face?
He is such a good brother and Adylee is always trying to keep up. They are so cute together and I love just to listen to them giggle and play together.
Adylee turned one on the 5th of February. I cannot believe that my baby is one. It went by so fast and she is getting so big. I dreaded her turning one. I feel like I was so busy chasing Coen that I missed out on her babiness. So when she turned one I was sad but very happy at the same time. I know that she is going to be hitting milestones very quickly from here on out. She has started walking more and more, but is very determined not to fully walk and just keeps crawling. It should be any day though that she will be walking. She is growing so fast. I know now that next time I have a baby that I will cherish every second of that baby and will take the time to hold that baby every second I get.

Here are some pictures from Adylee's first birthday.
I love this little girl and I am so excited to watch her grow.

Dale had his first job interview for a law job this week. It makes everything very real that we will be out of law school in two months. It is a very scary thing trying to figure out where we should go or what we should do. It is a very serious test of faith. I am trying to put my trust in the Lord but it is very difficult at times. I just want to know where we are going so I can make plans.

School keeps me busy most days but I am getting restless with Utah. I am trying to figure things to do with my kids that will keep them busy during the day without destroying my house. This snow has kept us inside and Coen is going stir crazy. So if you have any ideas please let me know.

Hopefully these next two months go by quickly so we can be around all our family again. We ask that you all keep us in your prayers that we find a job so we can have somewhere to go after law school. We would be forever grateful to all those who pray for us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-71198533921525236682012-12-23T08:10:00.000-08:002012-12-23T08:10:01.854-08:00DecemberWell the end of the year is almost here and I cannot believe how fast our last year in Utah is already going. We have been really busy this past semester with school, work, and of course keeping up (or trying to) with our children. Coen is 2 and 1/2 now and is finally starting to talk in sentences I feel like it took him forever to start but knowing his personality it dose not surprise me. He is a lot like Dale that way with his very observer personality and not talking to people he dose not feel completely 100% comfortable with. Our poor families have to wait for Coen to warm up to them every single visit. Lucky for us there are things like Skype and Facetime, so my kids get to see their family almost every week. This also helps with Coen warming up a lot faster when we do have visitors or we go to AZ.

With Christmas here we decided to take the kids to see Santa. Coen was very excited because we have been talking about Santa for the last month and how he was going to bring Coen presents. When we got to the front of the line, Coen freaked out and wouldn't even let Dale put him down. As you can see in the picture Coen is not even happy with Dale sitting there with him.

Adylee is the exact oppisite of Coen. She sat right on Santa's lap and had a nice conversation with him. That is our Addie though. She will talk to anyone who will listen and go to anyone who will hold her. She is so much like me that I am scared for the future. She is our social butterfly. It amazes me that these two came from the same two people.
We have also had quite a bit of snow so far this season. We took the kids out after a big snow storm and Coen loved it. I am not sure Addie did though. Again something like me. She dose not like the cold and I am pretty sure she hated the snow. It is a good thing we are moving back to Mesa where there is not snow every winter.

Dale finished his second to last semester on the 6th. He is feeling good about almost being done. He also received a paper from the school telling him about all the important dates for Graduation this next semester. It has hit us that we are almost done and will be graduating in April. (I say it like I am graduating too. Sometimes it feels like we are both graduating.) I am so incredibly proud of Dale and everything that he has accomplished I cannot wait for our next adventure to start.

We are bittersweet about Christmas this year. Because of all that we have to pay for this next semester with graduation and the bar exam, we felt that it would be better if we stayed in Utah for Christmas instead of spending the money to go and visit our families. It is sad to think that we won't be there with everyone this year, but we are excited about being with just us and waking up in our own beds on Christmas morning. We have gotten out kids Christmas presents for the first time this year (because we always go to AZ our families always give us all our presents and we don't buy any because out Christmas is paying for the trip). We get to play Santa this year. I am so excited I can hardly wait. I am excited about seeing out kids react to all the presents this year and spending the day playing with them and all their new toys. Next year we will get to be with out families and have our own Christmas too. As for this year we are making the best of it.

I hope this post finds you all well and happy with life. Some changes have happened here in the Albach household and I thought that I would share. Oh and for those of you wonder if I am pregnant again.......sorry to disappoint that is not in our update and will not be for at least the next year (hopefully, I guess birth control is not always 100% effective as we found out with Miss Adylee Ann).

Change #1
Dale applied to the Air Force JAG and was turned down because he had to loose another 20 pounds in addition to the 50 he has already lost this summer. It was very heartbreaking (kind of) and after much prayer and thought, we decided that the Air Force was not for us. Dale is proud of himself for the 50 pounds he did loose (I think he is SUPER hot!) and it has caused him to live healthier and learn portion control, but he does not want to constantly have to worry about his weight and diet like he has been for however long he would have been in the Air Force. I personally was just fine with that decision.

We talked about going to Texas for a while after Law School because we were worried about moving back to Arizona. We have grown to like being a little further away from family. (Every newly married couple, I highly recommend moving away from both families for a time. I promise you will be stronger together.) We have learned to rely on each other more, to spend more time together as our little family unit, and we have made some great friends that will be going back to Texas and I am seriously going to bawl like a baby when we have to leave these AMAZING people behind. But again after much fasting and prayer, Texas just didn't feel right. Dale and I have always loved the idea of our children growing up around cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents, that we felt like we are now ok together to move back to Arizona. So we are just going to have to make sure that we make a yearly trip to see those AMAZING friends of ours because they cannot get rid of us, EVER (sorry Chinns, you are stuck)

For those who know me, know that I hate the cold and Utah has been not nice to me with all the snow. I am super excited to move back home and be around family again. I am so excited for the heat too. I know that you all think that I am crazy, but you do not have to scrap sunshine off your front windshield. So we will be moving back to Arizona on April 27, 2013 and I cannot wait.

Change #2
This brings me to our second change. I have been accepted to the Arizona State University Psychology Online Program. I am finishing up my AA degree in Medical Transcription at Kaplan University and in January I start at ASU. I am really excited that all of my hard work is finally paying off. I am really excited to start this new chapter in my life and finally get my degree. It will be about a 6 year adventure to get my doctorate but I am excited. And I can do all of this from home while I raise my babies. I am very grateful to live in a time where this is possible and that I am able to do all of this without sacrificing time while my children are growing up. And because of the fact that I am a ASU student, even if that is online, we get to live out at the ASU family housing on the Polytech Campus in East Mesa. We are really excited for a house to live in that does not share any walls with anyone else, and it will give us time to save up some money and buy our own home in a couple of years.

Change #3
Adylee is now pulling herself up and walking with the push walker. She will be nine months tomorrow and I cannot believe how fast she is progressing. Coen did not even crawl until 10 months (I think he was too fat to do much of anything ;) ) and didn't walk until just before he turned one, so I was not expecting Adylee to be so fast with every milestone. I guess she is just trying to keep up with Coen as much as possible who she just adores and follows around constantly. She is so adorable and tries to talk so hard. We joke that she will be talking better then Coen next year and she will be doing all the talking for the both of them.

Change #4
Coen is now 36 inches tall and almost 40 pounds. He is turning into this little boy and I am not sure that I can call him my baby anymore. He turned 2 on the 5th of October and is really starting to talk and put together sentences now. He is always coping me when I am on the phone, and from what I have gathered by watching him is that I must laugh a lot when I am on the phone because he will do the same thing. He is such a sweetheart with Adylee, always kissing and hugging her and reading and playing with her. I could not have asked for kids that play better together then the way these two do. As hard as it was having them only 16 months apart, I would do it all over again because of the bond they now share. I love to just sit and watch them. I love them both dearly and love being a mommy. It is hard some days, but so very worth it when all is said and done.

So those are the many changes that are happening here with us. I hope you all are well and I have posted some new pictures of the kids. Enjoy!
We really enjoyed being with our families for so long. We ended up coming home early because Dale was finished with his internship and we were anxious to be home. I cannot begin to tell you how nice it was to come home to all of our stuff after being away for 3 months. I love my bed and I do not want to sleep anywhere else, ever. My kids, adjusted back to our normal schedule well and it was so good to be welcomed back into our ward that we missed so much. I was especially glad to go to our playgroup again. I can tell that Coen missed it.

Here are some of my favorite pictures that I took of the kids this summer.
Dale and I got to go to a Diamondbacks game which was awesome! We got to witness a in the park home-run and it was very exciting. Dale and Coen also got to go an their first Father's and Son's camp out. They had a good time but Dale said he probably wait until Coen is a little older to do it again. Adylee and I had a girls night out that night. We went and got dinner and watched movies. It was way fun and I think that I will continue to do that with my girls when the boys go out of town.

The last two pictures are of the 4th of July. Pretty lame, I know. It is my favorite holiday and those are the only two pictures I took. It was really nice though. We stayed at home, had a BBQ, played cards, and watched fireworks from my parents front yard.

Dale started his last year of school this week! We are so excited that we will be finally grown ups and not be in school anymore. Dale is pretty burnt out and so he is ready to be done. We are really excited for this last year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-41659690389122130452012-06-13T11:13:00.003-07:002012-06-13T11:13:52.719-07:00Summertime Post #1Well this summer has been going really well. We are currently living in Tempe, AZ in a older couples home while they are serving a mission. We have been enjoying our time in AZ with both of our families. I love the fact that my kids have had this time to be around their uncles and aunts and cousins and grandparents. We have also had some time to get to know Dale's new stepmother and her children. It has been nice to get to know the newest members of the family. We really have been enjoying our time here. I am not sure about living in someone else's home with their things. We have missed our friends in Utah and we have really missed our Ward there. I will be excited to be home at the end of the summer.

Coen is now 20 months and has officially started talking and potty training. It has been an adventure for sure. I am not liking this adventure as much but Coen is growing up fast and I am just trying to keep up.

Adylee is now four months old and is such a great baby. She is now sleeping through the night and is rolling over and eating rice cereal. She also has started sucking her thumb which I think it is the cutest thing ever. I know that I will regret it later on, but is pretty cute now. She is so cute and I love her. She brings so much light into our home and I am excited that she came into our lives, even if it was not the most planned thing in the world.
Things in our lives are changing quickly. Dale is now applying to the Air Force JAG program in September. If he is accepted he will go to officer's training after he passes the bar and then he will go on to lawyer training for the Air Force right after that. That means we will be separated for 14 to 15 weeks. That will be very hard on me because I will be alone with the kids and then have to move our whole family where ever they station us, even if that means we are stationed overseas. The Air Force will fly Dale out to where ever his assignment is so that means we need to meet him there. Everything I have read about the Air Force life I am excited about. It will give our family a chance to have an amazing adventure and a way for us to get our loans paid off very quickly! I am very excited for the changes that will be happening in this next year.

I will be graduating this year as well with my AA degree in Medical Transcription and then I will be transferring to ASU to complete my degree in Psychology and then to continue to get my masters in Psychology as well. So I am excited to continue my education.

We hope that everyone is well!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-23403479149912809412012-03-29T18:16:00.000-07:002012-03-29T18:16:39.685-07:00Adylee Ann Albach and Family UpdateHey all! Ok so I am really bad about all of this blogging stuff. But here is an Update on all of us.

Adylee Ann Albach was born on February 5, 2012. That makes her and Coen exactly sixteen months apart. My water broke at 11pm on Saturday the 4th after a day of no contractions. I didn't even have contractions for two hours after my water broke. Very weird! At 3am on the 5th, I got my epidural and at 7:45 am my baby girl was born. We were very happy that she was a girl because the ultrasound tech was not sure. She weighed 8 pounds 13 oz. I was so surprised because I had only gained 11 pounds. So I was all baby!

Coen is doing really well and loves having the baby around. He is always very concerned where his sister is and that she always has her pacifier, blanket, and bottle. He is such a good big brother and Adylee already adores him. She is always looking at him like she knows who he is and that he will always be there for her. I love the bond that they have already. Coen is growing so fast that I don't know what to do with him. He now knows nine words and he is trying to say more every day. I want to freeze time with these two. Even though my life is very busy I love ever second.

Dale is finishing up his second year in Law School! Yea we only have one more year. He will be doing an internship in Mesa, AZ this summer and I cannot wait to get back to the heat. We will be there from the 20th of April to the 1st of August. I am very excited to be around family again. Cannot wait!

I am still very busy with school and for the first time in my life I have straight A's. I am very proud of my schooling and will hopefully graduate with my Bachelors in Health Admin the same time Dale finishes Law School. Then we will be grown-ups. Very Scary!

We hope all is well with everyone!
So here is an update from Orem, UT!

Dale is just entering finals on his third semester at Law School. We are two weeks away from being half way done! I am so proud of him and the ambition that he has to go into Criminal Law. I would never want to hear about all the things that he will have to. Dale also got an internship for 10 weeks in Mesa, AZ at the Mesa City Prosecutor's office. He will be over seen by attorney's but will actually be trying his own cases! He is so excited and cannot wait. The best part about this is we will be in AZ for 12 weeks this summer! I am so excited to see all of my family and friends for a big chunk of time. Although, I think it will make it that much harder to come back to Orem to finish out the last year of Law School.

I am doing good with my pregnancy and I am officially 30 weeks now. We had a scare about three weeks ago where I was bleeding and cramping. We went to the hospital and it took them about two and a half hours to get the contractions to stop. I now have to be more careful about what I do during the day and make sure that I rest as much as I can. This is easier said than done with a 14 month old who has so much energy and runs around all day. Thank goodness for the Ward and the Play Group that they have set up. Twice a week Coen can play and I don't feel bad about not being able to play with him.

I also just finished my first semester in my Medical Transcriptionist program and got a 4.0 for the first time in my life. It was hard work but I now have the motivation to keep working hard and my goal now is to have a 4.0 at the end of May 2013 when I graduate.
He can now reach the counter and we have to be careful about where we put things. He makes me nervous when the stove is on. I am going to have to by a guard to put up so he won't burn himself. He also can climb on the couches with no problem. We call him our little monkey. We had to get a new crib that had a lower middle so he couldn't climb out of it. Now we have two cribs set up and I am slowly getting the room ready for Adylee. It will be so crazy to have two children so close together.

Adylee is getting bigger everyday and I swear is trying to bust out of me. At the doctor this past week he told me that she is already head down and really low. They are hoping that I make it to January. I hope so too. They told me to just be ready to go if I start labor. I hope that she decides to stay in there at least until 36 weeks. She just is so eager to join her family I guess. But she is growing really well and she is a strong little one. I cannot wait to meet her and hold my baby girl. We are working with Coen to say Addie and so far we have him saying Ada. So she needs to stay in there until we have that down.

I cannot believe that it is now the last day in November and we will be in AZ in two weeks! This is the longest that we have been away from home at one time. Eight months might not seem like that much time, but I have missed AZ very much. I miss being able to see our families and I miss the heat! I am not built for the cold or Utah. As good as Utah has been to us I will be very excited when we are able to drive home and see everyone for Christmas.

I hope that this was a good update and I will try harder to keep you all posted on us more. I know that I won't write before Christmas so Merry Christmas to you all and I hope that you will be surrounded by family, friends, and good food!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-38984109287038543462011-10-11T14:59:00.000-07:002011-10-11T14:59:07.613-07:00Coen's First Birthday
Well it is offical, Coen is 1! I cannot believe how time has flown and that a year ago I was holding my baby boy in my arms for the first time and all I could say was, "Hi Baby". This past year has been full of landmarks and milestones and I am very happy to say that I was there for all of it. I feel so blessed that I am able to stay home and do my schooling online so I can be here with Coen as he takes each new step in life. I love being a mommy!

Here are some pictures from his first birthday. It was football themed and we all had a lot of fun! I am so happy that my parents were able to be there for it. It was really special to have them there for the birth of Coen and I am so happy they were able to make it for his first birthday!

We have been crazy busy since the time I posted. Here is the update!

Dale did an internship in West Jordan working for a judge and going to court every day. To say the least he loved every minute of it. Dale has now decided that he is going to go into criminal law and wants to be a prosecutor. He will probably start off working in a defense attorney’s law firm to get his feet wet, and then get in with the state. We are really hoping for an internship in Arizona next summer. That way we can spend the whole summer with both of our families.

I am not sure how many of you have heard, but I am currently pregnant again. It was not the most planned thing in the world and we probably jumped the gun a little bit, but we are very excited for the baby girl we will add to our family in January 2012. I am very nervous to have a little girl because I know that she is going to be just like me and I will be in huge trouble!!!! But we are excited and can’t wait to meet our little Adylee Ann. I have also started doing a medical transcription program online and should be done with it about the same time Dale is done with law school. It is a hard program and I am working hard to complete it.

Coen is great! He will be one year on the 5th of October! I can’t believe how fast the last year has gone. He is not a baby anymore. He is full on walking and he is starting to talk as well. I love being with him every day and watching him grows. Being a mother is a great job and I am so lucky I get to stay home with him. He is going to be a great big brother.

I am so behind on this blog but here is a good updatew of everything that has been going on.

Coen is now 5 months old! It is so crazy how much he has grown. He is now in the 99% for his height and weight! He is 20 pounds and 27 inches. He is really becoming a little man. He is now sitting, standing with support, rolling over, and eating gerber foods. He loves them. I love to play with him all day. He also got his first tooth this week. It was very exciting, well at least for me. I am sure he is not having fun with it. He is the light of our lives and we are loving having our little family and watching it grow.

Here are some picture of Coen.

Dale is really busy with Law School over at BYU. He always has some big project and stays very busy. But he always finds time to play with Coen and spend time with his family. I am very grateful that he is not like most of my friends husbands and never comes home. Dale goes to school gets all of his work done and then comes home to us everyday. He is working very hard and we are getting excited that the first year is only weeks from ending. Dale has an intership this summer with a judge in South Jordan. We are so happy that he got that. It will be great experiance for him.

I am currently going to school online, working at Red Lobster as a server, and raising my family. I am not sure where I find the time most days but I love being able to say that I am busy. I love working at Red Lobster with peple agian. I have really missed hairstyling and I am glad that I am back in a Service Industry. I have also got a new calling working with the 8-11 year old girls in our ward in Activity Days. I love my partner and love the girls. This is such a fun age and we really enjoy our time together.

We did move to a basement apartment in Orem. We now live under Dale's Uncle and Aunt. As much as we loved our ward in Provo and living on campus, We really do love being away from all of the students. I love it in Orem.

We hope all is well with everyone. We miss Arizona most days and cannot wait to be back in the heat. These winters are not for us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-3653375533954329792010-10-18T15:36:00.000-07:002010-10-18T15:36:23.678-07:00Weeks 1 and 2Well, we have made it through the first two weeks of Coen's life. I am adjusting to his sleeping and waking up every two hours to be fed. Our lives have changed for the better. We love sitting at home as a family and just play with Coen. He is very alert when he is awake and we love it. I have been recoverying nicely and I am very happy to say that the worse of it is over. I also have been able to ware normal clothes for the past two days. I love the fact that I can fit into normal jeans again. Coen has been doing really well with eating and has gained 10 ounces. He is doing really well and we are very grateful that we have such a healthy baby boy.

Other then Coen coming into our lives, nothing much has changed. Dale is still loving law school and is doing really well. He has taken to the law very well and loves the debates and discussions. I have been busy trying to get my hair business off the ground and trying to get as many clients as I can. Now that Coen is here I can really put the time into it that I need. We can't wait for Christmas so we can go back to Arizona for two weeks. We are missing our family and friends. We are liking Provo, but prefer Arizona. Dale is working to get an internship there for the summer so hopefully we will be able to spend the summer there. Everything is good here. We love Coen and can't wait for the firsts that we will get to share with him. Hope everyone eles is doing just as well as we are.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-2739558391266678382010-10-10T11:15:00.000-07:002010-10-10T11:15:09.890-07:00Coen Scott Albach

On October 5th at 1:19pm Coen Scott Albach was born.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-86832176330765283392010-08-19T09:52:00.000-07:002010-08-19T09:52:23.599-07:0032 weeks and counting? This week I hit my 32 week mark, to celebrate I went into labor. I was having contractions all day on Monday and then when they got to about 3 minutes apart we went to the hospital. They hooked me all up and sure enough contractions every 2 minutes. I was all hooked up for about an hour as they watched me and the baby. I never got closer together so they did a physical exam and I was not dilated at all. The baby was perfectly happy and not an any distress so they gave me some morphine and sent me home.

Well to say the least the contractions did not go away. So after a long night of tossing and turning and only getting some sleep because of the morphine, I called my doctor (who had been out of town) and asked what he wanted me to do. I went in to see him and again he checked me out, no dilation, just really annoying, and painful, contractions.

So my wonderful doctor ordered anti-labor medication, so my contractions would not cause me to dilate, and bed rest for at least 2 weeks. I love the fact that I am not dilating and that the contractions have stopped but I am not sure what is worse, the contractions or the anti-labor medication that cause me to shake uncontrollably and have horrible headaches. Oh well, what is good for the baby is what matters right now.

Our little boy has been such a tropper through this pregnancy! He has gone through so much just to get to this world. I have a feeling that he is going to do great things with his life! I can't wait to hold him in my arms (when he is full term) and kiss his face.

My wonderful husband has been so great through out all of the test and trials that we have had to face! I love him so much and I know that I could not have made it if he wasn't right there holding my hand. He has given me so many blessings through out this pregnancy that it makes me feel truly blessed to have the priesthood in my home! Dale, Thank you so much for being that man that is worthy to have the priesthood and use it when it is needed. Our son will be able to look to his father as a great example for the man that he wants to become! I love you Dale!

Our lives have been intresting these past few weeks and we are loking forward to the adventures to come. Thank you all for your continued prayers on our family'e behalf. We are blessed to have you all in our lives!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-29419734187077519092010-06-26T08:57:00.000-07:002010-06-26T08:59:52.108-07:00New Ward, New Friends, New Town, New LifeWhen Dale and I moved to Provo, UT, we were a little bummed out. We didn't want to move to Utah and attend BYU. We didn't want to be like every other Mormon couple that goes to BYU. Yes, we were a little critical of Utah and the people that live there. Well to say the least, we were seriously wrong.

Our new ward is fantastic. It is really small and the ward boundaries don't include very much. The ward will grow but not very much in the fall, so it will stay the small intimate ward it is. Everyone was so welcoming and warm the week we moved in. We love our ward so much.

We have gained some great friends since we have been here. The couples that we have become the closest to, are not from Utah so their families, like ours, are not around. We have gotten to know these wonderful people and love them all. It makes things a lot easier when you have someone to share things with. We feel that these people will be life friends. We are very grateful for all of them.

The town of Provo is wonderful!!!! We love the weather, the green trees, and the small town feel. It is nice not to be in the city anymore and we love taking walks at night. The fact that it is not 115 out is our favorite part of living here, but I am not so sure that we are going to be this happy when the winter rolls around. We are not what you would call snow people but it will be an adventure.

Dale now has a job down at the MTC in the Dining Hall. He is enjoying working again and being busy. He is getting nervous about Law School starting but he is also very ready to be busy all the time again.

The baby is growing everyday. I can feel him more and more and he is very active. He doesn't like it when I sit for too long and he lets me know when it is time to get up and move. I am loving this period in my pregnancy. I can eat whatever I want without getting sick now and my energy is back. I love connecting with my little boy everyday. Dale loves to feel him kick and move. We cannot believe that I am only 15 weeks away from delivering. It is getting exciting.

We are loving Provo and hope all is well with everyone. We are missing home at times. We love you all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-18103864544846045092010-06-07T07:49:00.000-07:002010-06-07T07:49:12.507-07:00Moving to Provo, UTWell we are all moved in, unpacked, and pictures are hung. We are now living in Provo, UT and we are not going back to AZ for a long time.

It was hard to say good-bye to all of our family but we are excited to be starting our new chapter. We are loving the weather here and love the fact that we can be outside for a long period of time without dying of heat.

Even though we are going to miss all of our family in Mesa, AZ we are very excited about the people that we will meet here.

Everything with the baby seems to be going alright. Thank you again for the countinued fasting and prayers on our behalf. We love you All!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-10342590346695442882010-05-28T15:06:00.000-07:002010-05-28T15:06:43.625-07:00ComplicationsWell everything with this pregnancy was going well.

This past week we had our last doctor's appt with the best doctor out there. We have been so blessed to have such a great doctor who took the time and effort to make sure that everything went so well with the baby. We said good bye and we were ready to move on to Provo and find another OBGYN. But we got a phone call the next day asking to come in as soon as we could. When we got there we were both nervous to what this might be about. Our doctor came in and said that the ultrasound results came back with some negitive results. My heart just dropped. I knew something was wrong. We found out that my blood was not flowing strong enough to get our little one the blood supply that he needs to survive. After talking about what that meant, he told us we have two options. One we could wait to see if this problem would work itself out or two, I could give myself and injection twice a day to thin out my blood enough to get my baby what he needs. After loosing three babies, loosing a fourth was not an option for me. Even though it terrifys me to no end to have needles anywhere around me, I decided that I would do the injections. Dale has to do it for me because I can't but he has been wonderful about it. I now have a lovely black and blue stomache but its all worth it if this baby comes out healthy.

On Sunday we are having a fast for the baby. We are asking all those who can to join. Thank you again for all who have kept us in our prayers and we ask for the continue prayers of all. We are very optomistic that everything is going to be fine and that we will have a little boy in our arms in October.

We will keep everyone updated.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-16793166800755275462010-05-24T06:41:00.000-07:002010-05-24T06:41:03.181-07:00Update!
So last night I was sitting at my aunt's house and I was told that I need to update my blog! I am such a slacker when it comes down to making sure that everything is updated for everyone to read. So here is the current update :)

WE ARE MOVING IN ONE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And cannot wait! We are both so excited about getting our new life in Utah started. Dale's last day of work was on Friday and this week he is going to help me get everything ready to move. We have more packing and organizing to do and even though he was kind of bummed about being let go a week before he planned, I am really happy that he is here to help. With the baby growing bigger everyday, I should not be lifting things. So I am glad he will be here.

We went to our 2nd trimester ultrasound and here are a few pictures.

I have never made it past week 6 and things could not be going more smoothly. We have heard the heartbeat twice and the doctor says that all of my levels are great! We are slowly starting to get use to the idea that we will have a little one here in October. We are both very happy about my starting to show. I have this tiny baby bump that Dale loves to say "hi baby" to and he gives my belly lots of kisses. He could not be happier that everything is going so well.

Dale and I have finally set a date for our big move to Provo. We will be offically moving on May 31st. We are getting excited about moving and cannot wait to have our own space again. We are getting things all aranged and ready to go. We are going to miss Arizona very much but we are very happy about the new adventures!

Hope everyone eles is doing well! We will keep everyone posted on the baby.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-48220667484797052662010-03-04T10:13:00.000-08:002010-03-04T10:13:24.809-08:00AnnouncementOne year since my first Pregnancy, I found out I was expecting again. I have been very nervous to tell anyone until now because of my other three losses. But I went to the doctor on this past Tuesday and he found the heartbeat. The baby’s heartbeat is very strong and its growing very well. We are both super excited and very grateful for this blessing. We would like to thank all who prayed on our behalf and for the support that we have received from all. Thank you so much for being there for us when we needed it the most. It was a very hard year for us but it made us stronger as a couple and made us more grateful for this child. I am due in October.

The Doctor said that my body was not producing a certain hormone that you need to keep the baby growing. After I got pregnant, I was put on 4 prescriptions that will keep me and, more importantly, the baby healthy. I have had blood drawn every week for the past 5 weeks to make sure that everything is going well. All of my levels are great and I will slowly start going off of some of these prescriptions soon. My body has finally realized what is needs to be doing.

We have also decided to move to Provo, UT so Dale can attend law school. He was offered a $5,000/year scholarship which means he will only be paying about $4,000/year for tuition. We are very excited for the change but it has been bittersweet. We will be having the baby there which means that most of you will not be able to see the baby until that Christmas. It will be an adventure. If anyone knows of a good OBGYN there let me know.

Thank you again for all of your prayers and support. Don’t stop praying for our little family for we are not out of the woods yet. We love you all and will keep you posted.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-80470341299447144222010-01-04T11:48:00.000-08:002010-01-04T11:48:11.026-08:00Thanksgiving, Christmas, Doctor Appointments, and Law School ApplicationsWell life has been busy and we are not doing very well on keeping up with our blog.

First of all Thanksgiving was fantastic and we both had alot of fun being with Dale's Dad and his brother, sister's, sister-in-law, and his brother's baby boy. After spending time there playing games and having a wonderful dinner, we went over to Dale's mom's for pie and family pictures. They turned out so cute and I love having them in frames and on my wall.

For Christmas we went up to Sam's parents house in Show Low. The day before we left it snowed really hard there and by the time we got there was a foot of snow on the ground. We were both really excited for a white Christmas. We had a great time with the family for the last Christmas all together for the next three years. It was a little emotional but we had a really nice time.

During all of this Sam was going to Doctor Appointments and getting a lot of blood test done to find out why she has not been able to carry her babies full term. After a lot of blood was drawn and lots of tests were done, they finally found out what has been wrong. Sam does not produce a certain hormone and she has low iron. The combination of the two caused each miscarriage. It is easily fixed with a simple precription. We are both really excited! And hopefully we will be able to post soon that Sam is pregnant! The doctor told us that there should be no reason why she shouldn't carry full term and have a healthy baby.

Dale has offically applied to all of the schools that he wants to go to for law school. We will keep everyone posted when he gets his letters back.

We hope everyone had fun for the holidays and we are wishing everyone a happy new year.

2010 will be OUR YEAR!!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-74036753031889068552009-11-30T06:55:00.000-08:002009-11-30T06:55:25.308-08:00Life Happens and then Thanksgiving HappensWell for the past week things have been on a crazy ride. First, Sam had her third miscarriage. It was hard on both her and Dale. We sat and cried for a while after it happened. We have a plan now to go see a doctor who helps women who have a hard time getting pregnant or keeping their babies, to get pregnant and stay pregnant. We have high hopes for this Doctor. We will keep everyone posted. We are hoping for the best. Thank you to all who have been praying for our little family. We feel those prayers everyday!

Thanksgiving was bittersweet this year. We spent the holiday with Dale's family and had a great dinner with great people. We had to leave when Sam became too emotional to be with everyone. But we did have some fun.

On Black Friday, we got up at 4:30 so we could get some Christmas gifts for each other and for family. Sam went to Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Big Lots and found nothing. Dale went to Target and the one thing he wanted to get for Sam was a keyboard. There were these three music teachers that got there before he did and took every keyboard. Dale asked if he could have just one but they told him that they needed all of them. Dale was not a happy camper when he met up with Sam later. They both then went to Wal-Mart again and found gifts for almost everyone in the family. Then they went to Sears and found Beatles Rockband and that's all Dale wanted for Christmas. So we bought it. But after bringing it home and getting it all set up and we started to play, every piece of equipment didn't work right. So after a very frustrating weekend we decided to pack it all up and take it back to the store.

After we got home that day, Dale went onto craigslist and found a great keyboard for $10. So we went and picked it up. We were very excited about our finds but we could've gotten up much later and had the same results. Dale then worked on a paper for the rest of the day and Sam took a much needed nap.

We had a great weekend and we hope that everyone else did too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699867638898920835.post-39255193791330638842009-11-16T09:10:00.000-08:002009-11-16T09:10:26.556-08:00Christmas!We are so excited about Christmas this year... well Sam is! Sam set up all of their Christmas stuff up on Saturday and found out that they do not have much. It looked a lot better in their little apartment. This year is also special because we will be spending the holiday with Sam's family in Show Low. It is Stetsen's, Sam's brother, last Christmas with the family before his mission. He has also been away from the family for the last six months at Boot Camp and will be home for Christmas. We are all very excited.

We are also preparing as much as possible for the on coming baby. Even though we are still a ways off from the baby we are very excited. Sam has been feeling sicker then she did with the first two pregnancies and hopes that is a very good sign.

Dale is in the process of applying for Law School all over the country and we are getting very excited to start getting the acceptance letters and scholarship offers. We can not wait for the final decision so we can finally find out where we will be living starting next fall.

So we will have Thanksgiving, Dale's Graduation, Christmas, Next Semester, Birth of Baby, and then Moving and Starting Law School. Very busy next nine months.
