So I am really bad at this blogging thing and I have some family members who said that I need to post more so they can see what is going on with us! So here is an update from Orem, UT!
Dale is just entering finals on his third semester at Law School. We are two weeks away from being half way done! I am so proud of him and the ambition that he has to go into Criminal Law. I would never want to hear about all the things that he will have to. Dale also got an internship for 10 weeks in Mesa, AZ at the Mesa City Prosecutor's office. He will be over seen by attorney's but will actually be trying his own cases! He is so excited and cannot wait. The best part about this is we will be in AZ for 12 weeks this summer! I am so excited to see all of my family and friends for a big chunk of time. Although, I think it will make it that much harder to come back to Orem to finish out the last year of Law School.
I am doing good with my pregnancy and I am officially 30 weeks now. We had a scare about three weeks ago where I was bleeding and cramping. We went to the hospital and it took them about two and a half hours to get the contractions to stop. I now have to be more careful about what I do during the day and make sure that I rest as much as I can. This is easier said than done with a 14 month old who has so much energy and runs around all day. Thank goodness for the Ward and the Play Group that they have set up. Twice a week Coen can play and I don't feel bad about not being able to play with him.
I also just finished my first semester in my Medical Transcriptionist program and got a 4.0 for the first time in my life. It was hard work but I now have the motivation to keep working hard and my goal now is to have a 4.0 at the end of May 2013 when I graduate.
Coen is now 14 months old and is getting taller everyday. He can now reach the counter and we have to be careful about where we put things. He makes me nervous when the stove is on. I am going to have to by a guard to put up so he won't burn himself. He also can climb on the couches with no problem. We call him our little monkey. We had to get a new crib that had a lower middle so he couldn't climb out of it. Now we have two cribs set up and I am slowly getting the room ready for Adylee. It will be so crazy to have two children so close together.
Adylee is getting bigger everyday and I swear is trying to bust out of me. At the doctor this past week he told me that she is already head down and really low. They are hoping that I make it to January. I hope so too. They told me to just be ready to go if I start labor. I hope that she decides to stay in there at least until 36 weeks. She just is so eager to join her family I guess. But she is growing really well and she is a strong little one. I cannot wait to meet her and hold my baby girl. We are working with Coen to say Addie and so far we have him saying Ada. So she needs to stay in there until we have that down.
I cannot believe that it is now the last day in November and we will be in AZ in two weeks! This is the longest that we have been away from home at one time. Eight months might not seem like that much time, but I have missed AZ very much. I miss being able to see our families and I miss the heat! I am not built for the cold or Utah. As good as Utah has been to us I will be very excited when we are able to drive home and see everyone for Christmas.
I hope that this was a good update and I will try harder to keep you all posted on us more. I know that I won't write before Christmas so Merry Christmas to you all and I hope that you will be surrounded by family, friends, and good food!
