Life Happens and then Thanksgiving Happens

Well for the past week things have been on a crazy ride. First, Sam had her third miscarriage. It was hard on both her and Dale. We sat and cried for a while after it happened. We have a plan now to go see a doctor who helps women who have a hard time getting pregnant or keeping their babies, to get pregnant and stay pregnant. We have high hopes for this Doctor. We will keep everyone posted. We are hoping for the best. Thank you to all who have been praying for our little family. We feel those prayers everyday!

Thanksgiving was bittersweet this year. We spent the holiday with Dale's family and had a great dinner with great people. We had to leave when Sam became too emotional to be with everyone. But we did have some fun.

On Black Friday, we got up at 4:30 so we could get some Christmas gifts for each other and for family. Sam went to Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Big Lots and found nothing. Dale went to Target and the one thing he wanted to get for Sam was a keyboard. There were these three music teachers that got there before he did and took every keyboard. Dale asked if he could have just one but they told him that they needed all of them. Dale was not a happy camper when he met up with Sam later. They both then went to Wal-Mart again and found gifts for almost everyone in the family. Then they went to Sears and found Beatles Rockband and that's all Dale wanted for Christmas. So we bought it. But after bringing it home and getting it all set up and we started to play, every piece of equipment didn't work right. So after a very frustrating weekend we decided to pack it all up and take it back to the store.

After we got home that day, Dale went onto craigslist and found a great keyboard for $10. So we went and picked it up. We were very excited about our finds but we could've gotten up much later and had the same results. Dale then worked on a paper for the rest of the day and Sam took a much needed nap.

We had a great weekend and we hope that everyone else did too.

Christmas!

We are so excited about Christmas this year... well Sam is! Sam set up all of their Christmas stuff up on Saturday and found out that they do not have much. It looked a lot better in their little apartment. This year is also special because we will be spending the holiday with Sam's family in Show Low. It is Stetsen's, Sam's brother, last Christmas with the family before his mission. He has also been away from the family for the last six months at Boot Camp and will be home for Christmas. We are all very excited.

We are also preparing as much as possible for the on coming baby. Even though we are still a ways off from the baby we are very excited. Sam has been feeling sicker then she did with the first two pregnancies and hopes that is a very good sign.

Dale is in the process of applying for Law School all over the country and we are getting very excited to start getting the acceptance letters and scholarship offers. We can not wait for the final decision so we can finally find out where we will be living starting next fall.

So we will have Thanksgiving, Dale's Graduation, Christmas, Next Semester, Birth of Baby, and then Moving and Starting Law School. Very busy next nine months.

We will keep everyone posted!

Fall is here.....Finally!!

We are both very excited that Fall is here in the Valley. The weather is finally getting colder, well at least at night, and we are both very excited to say that the semester is half way done. HORRAY!!!!!!!!

Dale is so ready for the semester to be over. He has been working really hard in all of his classes and he just recived a letter telling him that he is in the top 15% of his class at ASU! Sam could not be more proud of him. He has also started the application process for Law School. This time next year we will be in another state living an adventure. We are both very excited about it.

Sam is enjoying her new job and being back in school again. It has been challenging not being home ever but she feels like she is finally accomplishing something. It feels good.

We cannot believe how fast this year is going by. It is going to be December before we know it and the year will be over. We are both very excited to see Dale gradutate in December and for Christmas with the West Clan.

For those who are wondering about Stetsen, Sam's little brother, he is doing really well. He finished his first part of Boot Camp in  September and is now in the second part. He will be home for good until his mission in December and we all are very proud of him. We will make sure that everyone stays posted with him also.

We hope all is well with everyone!

August 2009

Well the summer is over and school has begun. To say the least we are very, very busy. Sam is working full time and going to MCC with 13 credit hours. And Dale is in his last semester of ASU and will graduate in December!! YAY!!!!! Then we are going to be here until July of 2010 than it is off to law school. We are not sure where we will be yet. All we know is that it will be out of AZ. We love our desert and our families but it is time for an adventure for the Albach's.

Thank you all so much for your love and support after the miscarrige. It was a very hard time for all of us but we are doing much better now. To answer your questions, we are not sure when we will be trying again, but we will keep you updated.

Life is very busy right now and there are days when we don't get to see much of eachother. But it will all be worth it in the end.

We hope everyone is doing well. Until next time.

Summer

Well its amazing how fast the year is going. It is already the 3rd of July!

Things are going well but the most exciting thing that has happend is that Dale got a 165 on his LSAT Test. For those who don't know that is really good and now it is just getting into BYU.

We are doing really well otherwise. There is nothing much eles to report. We are doing well.

Life Happens.....

Well for the last month and a half lots has happened. We are just really bad at the whole blogging thing so we haven't told of all of our adventures.

First of all, we moved into a little house in Mesa that we love. After getting rid of all of the prior tenants (the roaches!) we made into a little home that we are enjoying. The ward here is fantasitic and we are loving the neighborhood. It is really nice to not be in an apartment anymore dealing with crazy people who live below us, dealing with parking, and worrying if we are being to loud for the people below us. We have four walls that are ours now and we are paying less here then at the apartment, so we got a deal.

Second, Dale finished his first semester of his Senior Year at ASU! Sam is so proud of him! He takes his LSATs in June and then we get to start with the application process! So cross your fingers that he gets into BYU and that law school will be that much easier for us.

Third, Even though we have had some really good things happen we have also had some not good things happen too. We found out we were pregnant on Easter, but miscarried this last weekend. It has been hard on us because we had a lot of plans, but life happens. It has been hard but we are pulling through and hopefully we will find out that we are expecting again soon. Sam also lost her job due to the economy sucking! But again we are pulling through.

And Fourth, We will be coming up on our year in July and what a year it has been. We would like to thank all of those who have helped us in anyway. We love you all.

Until the next adventures we will leave you with this. Remember life happens, but its the way you handle it that makes you better!

So we have decided that we are really bad at this whole blogging thing. But that is ok because we do update it when we can. Here is what is new with the Albach Family.

Dale has finally started looking into law schools and has picked the top ones that he would like to apply to. BYU is and will always be our number 1 pick just for the fact that it is about 10 times cheaper. We are not so excited about living in Utah but it would be the best thing for us. We would be surrounded by family and friends. Our other top choices are University of Colorado, Chapel Hill in North Carolina, and ASU will always be on our list but not on the top. We are excited for the adventure that waits for us, but we are not excited about the amount of money it will take to get through school.

Anyways, Sam is just taking one day at a time, working hard, and just trying to figure life out as it comes. There have been ups and downs as there are in every aspect of life, but she is enjoying all of it.

Life is fun and we are just coasting right now. We love it and we love each other. What more can you need?

A Year Together

Well we have made it a year.....well almost. Next month on the 18th will mark a year since our first date. We are loving married life and cannot wait to see what the year holds in store for the Albachs. Dale has started his senior year at ASU and Sam is working hard to get him through this last year. He has started looking at law schools but Sam wishes he would look at them more. With all the cuts at ASU latley BYU is becoming more and more an option.

We are planing a trip to Vegas in a week and can't wait. Thanks to Sam's parents we will be spending four days playing and having a great time with friends.

Sam and Dale are both excited for the arrival of the first Albach grandchild and can't wait to be an Aunt and Uncle. That little one is going to be spoiled to say the least. It is fun to watch the family grow. We are excited to see Maaike and Stetsen graduate High School this year(even if they have to be apart to make it to both) and seeing all of the sisters grow to be wonderful young women has been great.

Well that is the fun that is happening around here. We hope all is well with you.
